What was life like growing up?
Life was tough at times. My dad raised me on his own since I was three. I know it couldnt have been easy raising a little girl turn young woman on your own as a single dad. But he managed to do an amazing job. My dad is really my hero. He's given it all to make me succeed. From putting band-aids on my owiies to making sure college classes are [always] in my life, regardless of what else I have going on. Im sure some things would have been a little easier with a mom aroung, but we managed to get through every obsticle.   

Where you popular in High School
Popular? I wouldn't consider myself popular lol. I knew a lot of people, but I think it was because I hung out with all of the jocks and dancers. I played sports all through highschool so it was kind of mandatory to meet people, you can ask any of my close freinds though, I would have rather been in my own bubble lol. Oh how things change!   

whats the first compliement you get?
My smile, I'll admit, I love it.   

How did you get into modeling?
haha! Actually, yes. I started with JRP when I was 7 and stayed with them for a fiew years. Right around the time elementry school was ending I took a break to try other things. Thats when I discovered sports. After high school I started building my portfolio again.   

What was it like to pose for the first time?
OMG I was so nervous! I will never forget it. I didnt know what to do, how to move, what to do with my face and my hands lol.   

Do you still get nervous before a shoot?
I always get nervous before any big event I do, but its a good kind of nervous. Once I start doing my thing, I dont even notice them though.   

What makes a great photographer?
They have to be fun to work with. I dont need a lot of direction, but its nice to hear their ideas and input. I once had this photographer that was really quiet, and he would just aim and shoot and then bring the camera down and stare at me, pick the camera back up and start again. haha. It was the most awkward shoot Ive ever done.   

Greatest Modeling / Fitness accomplishment so far?
The bikini and lingerie fashion show that I just did. I was so excited and happy to do it. Runway is what Ive always wanted to do, since day one. But I'm too short for most of the companies. So to be able to do this one felt like a milestone for me.   

Tell us your most memorable shoot?
When I shot with Lee Robinson (SNAB photography). He had me walking back and forth over 11 acres of land. We would change then walk out to our spot in the refinery. Then walk back, change, and go back out in another direction lol. He had such an amazing energy and his ideas were great. I love to work with photographers that can challenge me in my modeling. (poses, facial expressions, potraying specific themes/ideas).   

Any current exciting projects your working on?
I'm always working on something... you will just have to stay tuned and see for yourself :)   

Ever thought about acting
Hmmm. Its crossed my mind. Im not sure how I'd do with it though. Ive been told I can be quite the little drama queen haha.   

What are your dreams or goals in life?
I want to get a major in chemistry and go into the oncology field with it. My great Grandma's both passed from cancer so I'd like to be able to make a difference. As for my modeling, Id love to be more established in a career.   

Like to travel?  Where..
I love to tavel! I have so many plans to go EVERYWHERE. I want to go to Miami, Hawaii, Italy, Japan, Paris.. just all over the place.   

What makes you feel sexy?
Believe it or not, I feel sexy when im sitting at home on my couch with a baggy t-shirt and some shorts on. I am comfortable in my body any place, date, or time. Sexy comes from the inside, not the appearance. Its the way a you carry yourself.   

Who has been the most inspirational person in your life?
My daddy. Without him I would not be who I am today. Hes always taught me to be independent, motivated, and ambitious. My goals are to surpass his, and nothing is ever good enough for my dad, so I always work hard(er) than most people. :)

What was life like growing up?
I was a tomboy growing up. I grew up with my brother, my 2 cousins and my grandparents. We all lived together in a huge house with nannies. My parents got divorced when I was really young but I feel like I had a good childhood regardless. Maybe not a typical one but a really good one thanks to my grandparents. <3

Were you popular in High School
My high school was HUGE. We had a lot of people so it wasn't like a small town HS. I definitely wasn't emo and I did know quite a lot of people (by face anyways. I am horrible with names) but I wouldn't say I was popular. I was always so busy with modeling and my part time jobs. But I have a hand full of close friends from HS that I am always hanging out.   

whats the first compliement you get?
I have a lisp but people love it for some reason. People always compliment on how sexy my voice is and I find it really funny lol   

How did you get into modeling?
It was weird. I started off 5 years ago with doing a random gig for macys, and I got scouted by an agency. It's hard for me because I am really petite. I can't do high fashion because of my height. I can't do some of the really sexy shoots because of my body. But I like the way my body is. I am only 19 right now, I refuse to get fake boob implants to get really into import modeling or anything really. My shoots are sexy but classy and I like that its not just about how big my boobs are or how skinny I look. It's what makes me different.    

What was it like to pose for the first time?
I wasn't nervous at all. And I think that's when I realized, I like modeling and I was a natural at it. But of course, not perfect. Over the years, I've learned to pose better.    

Do you still get nervous before a shoot?
Most of the time, not at all.

VS style. messy sex hair, cute lingerie.

some one who makes you feel comfortable and not creep on you.

Ever thought about acting
yes. I went to a casting for disney not too long ago. I like acting, I think it can take me farther than modeling .. 


What are your dreams or goals in life?
I want to have my own high end clothing store in soho. I am going to be a really independent and successful business woman. I will never depend on anyone, especially men. I adore modeling but I am realistic. I need more than modeling to make my dreams come true.

I would love to travel the world one day.

I feel sexy at photoshoots, when my hair and make up is all done and I am just in a really cute bikini. lol

Who has been the most inspirational person in your life?
My grandmother. She raised me my entire life and she passed away recently on my birthday. I love you lola and I will miss you always <3

What was life like growing up?
I was taken away from my mother when I was 10 years old due to her drug abuse. My father has never really been in the picture, I mean I know who he is and where he lives but haven't seen him in 10 years. My best friend's family was kind enough to take me in at the age of 13 even though they already had 4 kids of their own and I lived with them until I moved to go to college. I consider them my immediate family and continue to visit them often. Without them I would not be the well adjusted member of society that I am today.   (editor is trying to adjust, and had an easy childhood)

Where you popular in High School
Although, I knew most people in school and hung around with a wide variety of people, I was involved with a legalistic Bible thumping evangelical church so I'm not sure that I was all too popular in High School. I was also a bit of a tomboy so I guess you could consider me a late bloomer.  

whats the first compliement you get?
The first compliment I get is usually on my tattoos or my hair. I enjoy getting compliments about the coloring on my tattoos but I don't enjoy getting asked if they hurt getting them. I usually respond with no, they were licked on by kittens because I tend to be a bit of a smart ass like that lol. Part of the meaningfulness of tattoos is the pain of the process. No pain, no gain as they say.    

How did you get into modeling?
I modeled as a child on runways in Hawaii and wanted back into it when I was a young teenager. I sort of lost that dream when I didn't grow as tall as I was expected to. Both my parents are 6' tall but I stopped growing at 5'3 for some reason so high fashion was out of the question. I got back into it in 2008 when I was inspired by tattooed pinup girls because it doesn't matter so much how tall you are or what your measurements are and tattoos are welcome. So I started out doing a lot of pinup inspired photo shoots and as I grew in confidence I ventured out to other genres.    



What was it like to pose for the first time?
I was a little nervous for my first photo shoot but mostly excited. I practiced a lot in the mirror and had my husband take a few pix of me so I could see how to pose etc. I'd say it turned out well for my first time.   


Do you still get nervous before a shoot?
Sometimes. If there's a large crowd watching me or if I'm having a hard time interpreting what the photographer wants. But for the most part I'm doing what I love and I enjoy every minute of it.   

Favorite type of pose?
I wouldn't say that I have a favorite pose. I really try to do something different every time. I'm always trying to expand my horizon and learn what I can do differently in every shoot.   

What makes a great photographer?
A great photographer knows the female form and knows what angles look best. They aren't afraid to snap too many shots and are constantly trying to catch beauty in motion. I've worked with so many wonderful photographers choosing a favorite would be like choosing a favorite star in the sky.   

Favorite Female Model?
My favorite model is Mosh (http://www.themoshroom.com/) She is an alternative model and she rocks every shoot. She inspires me with all the crazy sexy poses she does.

Tell us your most memorable shoot?
My most memorable shoot was with photographer Neerav Verma (ishoot.us) on the corner of Grand and Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles. I was modeling in the streets while people were bustling about their business and of course staring. I got a few cat calls and honks from motorists. Fun times.   (we call that guerilla style)

Any current exciting projects your working on?
I've been venturing out into the world of makeup and trying some new stuff with incorporating jewels into the makeup. I've also been working on a few sewing projects and modifying my wardrobe.    

Ever thought about acting
Acting is not really my thing. I'm open to the idea but I wouldn't say it's something I'm good at doing.   

What are your dreams or goals in life?
My dream is to be doing something I love and make money doing it. Not many people can say they are doing that these days. I hope that it would be modeling or something in that field but with the economy the way it is now I'm not sure that will be happening in the near future. I just keep moving forward and hoping for the best.

I LOVE to travel! If I could I would tour Europe. England, Spain, Italy, France all of it.

A good workout and a great hair day make me feel sexy.

What was life like growing up?
I was a tomboy. Im the only girl in my whole family. Loved Sports. Always got along better with boys. Have a few close girl friends but most of my friends are guys.

Just decided to give it ago. Entered a few modelling comps and it went from there.

I had NO idea what i was doing! I was very nervous.

Depends what the shoot is for. If its a big publication shoot or a catalouge i can a little bit. However i am very at home infront of the camera now.

A great pout!   

What makes a great photographer?
One that knows the best angles and can see when your hair etc is not in the right place. Will also encourage and give you feedback. Also one that does't go over board on the airbrushing!

Shooting for a swimwear label i was sitting on a waterfall with someone blocking the water and without me knowing they planned to let the water out to get my expression on camera.

What was life like growing up?
Life growing up was a good one, I have always been an independent person, since i was a child but i was always supported in my decisions and aspirations. my parents are very supportive and i am very lucky. Moving from Cali when i was younger to vegas was a great move because there are so many opportunities for me to be the best i can be.

I was very popular, i went to a school where i was in broadcasting and was on the school news every single day. Everyone knew who i was and i was friends with everyone. not stuck up, very nice and friendly

I was told i had a unique look multiple times so i started looking into modeling then i got contacted to shoot for a Ferrari calendar and that was the kick off of ashley marie the model!

The 1st shoot i ever had, i felt awkward! i wasnt sure how to position myself, but as i got into it, it came natural

I dont get nervous, i get excited!! I always have fun with it

My goal is to always be my own boss, right now im running a company of my own and i love it!! hope to be successful and have a family in the next 5-10 years

What was life like growing up?
I was a lucky youngster big house with Mum and dad a proper daddys girl always Gordan what I wanted a barbie almost every week Front Londons biggest toy department store.  Ive always been a good girl never been to much Of a party girl everything I needed was at home.

I think I was quite popular always in the middle Of something whether it be good or bad.   

Whats the first compliment you get?
It would normally been ‘you’ve got such lovley teeth' Of course I love it I spend time on them they are my one of my assests its nice wen its noticed.   

How did you get into modeling?
Im always asked this and I honestly cant remember.  I enjoyed watching Celeb reality shows always loved the glitz and glamour and looking beautiful.   

What was it like to pose for the first time?
Nerve racking didn't have a clue wat I was doing I could tell the photographer wanted to leave loool   




Do you still get nervous before a shoot?
I'm always thinking will the photographer like me or will the results be amazing.

Great direction, patience,and a Creative eye.  also great at lighting and being friendly which helps the model to relax and feel comfortable.  my favourite photographer is Robert Player based in London

Winning Miss Bath City Great Britain.

Has to be recently with Robert Player.  I had to be oiled down and sprayed with very cold water fun but messy.pictures look fab tho and will be launched on my new website.

I'm currently designing my website and doing lots of shoots for people to buy my images and 2012 calender.

What was life like growing up?
I grew up with 3 older sisters who are all very accomplished.  Beautiful strong mother, grandmother and great grandmother, so the women in my family have been the MOST influential and would never let me be nothing but successful, happy, strong and beautiful.


My father went to jail when I was very young, but I met him again when I was 14 and we are closer than ever!


My step father had the biggest influence on my life.  He is my best friend and idol. Smart, amazing and completely selfless in raise my sisters and I!


I have a beautiful family and have been blessed with a healthy life!    


Where you popular in High School
I was not popular at all in school.  I was a rock and roll kid.  I actually dated the jocks lol, so that made the popular girls hate me, but I was in choir, and played first chair trumpet.  I was captain of the cheer team 3 years in a row, but never had many friends.  My best friends in high school were a group of 6 guys who smoked pot and never went to class. Greatest friends I could ask for!    


whats the first compliement you get?
That I have really nice eyes.  I love that - I have an in shape and healthy tan body lol, but I like that the first attention getter is my face.  Kind of refreshing.     


How did you get into modeling?
My good friend from high school got into doing shoots and brought me along to a few, and it really took off from there.  She doesn't even model anymore.  I actually got into it so much that I produce fashion shows for a living at the biggest clubs in Denver full time!    


What was it like to pose for the first time?
Amazing - I felt like the most beautiful girl in the world, and it felt even better because I knew I was only doing it for ME!    




Do you still get nervous before a shoot?
Not at all.  My creative juices start flowing and if anything I am very energetic and focused.  I really try to play into the roles and themes and visions per shoot.     


Favorite type of pose?
A fashion pose with a strong physical pose, but still have a sexy glamour look and softness    


What makes a great photographer?
Someone who can communicate their vision and fuse it to you, and on the set actually letting you help him work to create the final product.  Of course on top of that just a photographer with strong basic knowledge of lighting, conceptual vision and photography.    


Favorite Female Model?
I absolutely LOVE Brooke Burke.  Just a classy beautiful natural woman with a bangin' body and great personality.    


Greatest Modeling / Fitness accomplishment so far?
I have been asked to be the cover model for Beckwith Motorsports which is a national Motorcycle drag racing company.  I love doing xtreme modeling gigs!    


Tell us your most memorable shoot?
I did an awesome shoot with Chris the birdman andersen from the Denver Nuggets with His Giant black Trucks and Ferraris and Lamborghinis.  Amazing photographers and a beautiful set.  Probably my favorite shoot!    


Any current exciting projects your working on?
Yes I am getting ready to do a huge shoot for Ruckus Apparel which is a huge up and coming clothing company.  I am also the production manager for their runway shows.  I am doing a runway show for kandyrockswimwear.com and will be a part of a 15 designer Fashion Show in Denver this summer.  I am also getting ready to sing the national anthem at one of the Colorado Rockies Games - which I have actually done many times before!    


Ever thought about acting
I have definitely thought about acting, and for a short while, trained doing a little bit of acting with a modeling agency/school called John Casablancas in Denver.  I did very well with it in fact that they were making me take classes in it to be used for commercials.  I loved it and would love to progress in that area.    


What are your dreams or goals in life?
I want to just do what I love and I am kind of following the wind.


I want to own my own clothing line company and have it be selling.  I already have it started.  It is called Shredded Threads! So I want that to be off the ground and making money.  


I want to be traveling all over and doing all kinds of shoots and spokesmodeling.  I love representing companies.  


It is only a matter of months until my line takes off, and as far as my career with me producing huge fashion shows in Denver, I'd like to take that to LA and grow within that as well!    


Like to travel?  Where..
Oh I love to travel.  Unfortunately, I have not had means to do so, but I have been to the bigger cities in the US and the number one place I want to go and see in the world I think is Ireland.  Just looks so beautiful!      


What makes you feel sexy?
Music - Dancing and feeling the beat and just being comfortable in my skin.  It gives me a boost of confidence and it makes me feel like I control the way I feel about myself.     


Anyone ever try to hold you back in life?
Believe in you!  They have to love your work enough to want to get to know more about you, and then understand why I am out doing what I am doing, then they will have a reason to believe that my love for what I do will keep giving them things to love as an outcome.     


Who has been the most inspirational person in your life?
My mother by far.  She has done everything from dirt biking to figure skating to modeling and even singing in rock bands.  Shes beautiful inside and out and always has positive and constructive things to say to me.  I only want to make her proud to have used some of the tools she has been gracious enough to share with me!

Believe in you!  They have to love your work enough to want to get to know more about you, and then understand why I am out doing what I am doing, then they will have a reason to believe that my love for what I do will keep giving them things to love as an outcome.

What was life like growing up?
Her parents were never impressed by the modeling industry and have always urged her to go for a more professional career, such as a lawyer, doctor, diplomat, etc. But they never stopped her from modeling just as long as she continued her focus on education.     


Where you popular in High School
No, not at all. I was short over-weighted gal in high school, like little round ball. never in the popular group :(*****    


How did you get into modeling?
Born and raised in China, Lisa was scouted by a local agent in Tokyo, Japan when she was exchange student for the summer school. At the age of seventeen, she was once again discovered, this time in her own city with a promotion agency, which was also representing Playboy Promotion Club Asia Division as well. Soon, she moved to Los Angles after she was chosen to be the face of next playmates. However, as the product of a traditional good Asia girl and a sexy westernized playmate, Lisa spent many years discovering who she was. Traveling between two countries, between two cultures, and split between two worlds (in every fact of the phrase) she needed to make sense of it all in order to find herself and her home.








What was it like to pose for the first time?
very nervous and shy, had to be told on how to pose. But you learnt from your mistakes, and practices makes perfect.

a little bit, but that's what makes shoot exciting...you can't wait to see the final images
