Biography

Born and raised in the Philippines, Ms. Torres is a unique combination of gifted and ambitious. In her way back in the Philippines at an early age of 19 years, tucked with a business and arts background, she established MLCT Oriental Furniture, a family-owned business. She later branched out to the manufacture of handicrafts out of indigenous and recycled materials. Having gained confidence from supplying small companies she ventured into supplying big businesses of their corporate giveaways like the National Bookstore, Duty Free Philippines and SM Department Store to name a few.
Her quest for knowledge and new skills is unstoppable. She simultaneously took training in Alternative Medicine and put up Traditional Healthcare Clinic. From there, she gained prominence in health care being a health buff herself. Formally enrolled in aerobics training and did grueling weight lifting exercises; it paid off with her winning several Miss Bikini and Body Contests. She started teaching Aerobics in 2000, gaining a lot of clients and friends, she knew that one day, she will create something to revolutionize Fitness.
To enrich her aesthetic sense, she took painting lessons from famous painters in the Philippines. Ms. Torres is preparing for her exbihit someday.
Ms. Torres is keen both in business and philanthropy. In 2003, she founded Katawang Pinoy Foundation with the aim of uplifting the lives of body builders, aerobics instructors and other related fields of endeavor. She showcased the most talked about show 'Skinned' at the Fort in Global City, Metro Manila, Philippines which placed a trade mark for Filipinos in the body painting industry. The organization receives national beauty titlists ramped the stage to support and was further supported by champions in the body building and health fitness industry.

The runway show will also feature the $2 million Bombshell Fantasy Bra designed by renowned Italian jeweler Damiani and worn by Supermodel Adriana Lima.

Tough Love outfit includes studded scanties and an off-the-shoulder corset. The stylists matter-of-factly adjusted her bits and pieces, making her cleavage even more dramatic.   That is always a good thing

The Country Girl ensemble is sweeter, with a violet gingham bra, sleeves with tiered ruffles, and lace-up white booties. Throughout, the towering heels are by Giuseppe Zanotti.

It was an especially exciting session since the Brazilian beauty had just learned that she was one of the Angels selected to wear the coveted wings on the 2010 runway.  And MV Agrees.

Strutting in the giant, black-and-white feathered creations, Ambrosio broke into a sunny grin. "They're fantastic!" she enthused, calling the look one of her all-time favorites. "I could easily wear this in Carnival in Brazil." - we think so...

Along with the wings, the heavenly creature wore thigh-high, chain-trimmed boots, and a monokini hand-painted in dark olive and gold.

Ambrosio believes exercise is key to feeling good, no matter what your body type. "It hurts but it feels good; it makes you feel confident," she says. Like many celebs, she's a fan of Pilates. For the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, she worked with a trainer for about a month to prepare.


Hailing from Santa Barbara, California, Katy Perry, the two-time Grammy nominated singer, released her first album, One of the Boys in 2008, which sold five million copies. She just released her follow-up album entitled Teenage Dream which spawned two #1 hits, the title track and California Gurls, which took only four weeks to reach the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. She was nominated in 2009 for a Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for her hit single "I Kissed A Girl" and again in 2010 for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for her hit single "Hot 'n' Cold." Ms. Perry will perform the third single off Teenage Dream, "Firework," on the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
