Bikini Week Tour 2011 shows off HOT Sexy swimwear

Swimsuits are an icon in America.  And in the west coast, some of the most innovative bikini designers are showcasing the hottest collections to hit the runway.  Bikini Week Tour allows some of the best talent and designers to come together in the best venues of the USA.  Model Vanity TV and MV Magazine feature some of the collection in this coverage.

In 2011 Bikini Week Tour is showcasing the latest swimwear fashion designs in seven spring break party destinations with a culminating final competition in San Diego. This new, globally focused series is designed to feature a mix of emerging and established brands and is aimed at providing a platform for local, national and international talent.

“Bikini Week, celebrating the art and lifestyle of swimwear, took San Diego by storm over the past two summers,” said Michael Lee, creator of Bikini Week. “We are looking forward to expanding Bikini Week into these new markets, where bikinis are de rigeur.”

Bikini Week is a platform for hopeful talent including designers, models, photographers, stylists and body painters. The week-long series of fashion events includes several runway shows.

Top swimwear designers showcase their newest styles on aspiring and professional models in nightlife venues, luxury hotels and poolside. The runway shows are followed by after parties with surprise celebrity guests and premiere musical talent. All these activities are going to be implemented in every Bikini Week market throughout March and May.



Bikini Week was created by entrepreneur Michael Lee in the spring of 2009 when he was asked to produce a fashion show for a bikini line from Long Beach, Calif. Looking to expand on the show, Lee launched what was the first international fashion show dedicated solely to bikinis. Bikini week made its first debut in San Diego, Calif., in 2009. The tour began as a local venue; and quickly spiraled into a fashion event phenomena. The eight-week tour visits seven major Spring Break destinations and will feature the hottest trends in bikini wear. The tour honors every component of the industry: designers, models, hair stylists, photographers and make-up. Bikini week not only supports the trade, but will also be hosting local poolside casting calls for each event.
