Police continued searching today for a dancer and former NFL cheerleader who has been missing for a week, and her friends and family began handing out fliers on the Las Vegas strip to help the search.

Deborah Flores-Narvaez, 31, is a dancer in the Luxor's "Fantasy" show. Police said she was last seen leaving her Las Vegas home around 7 p.m. last Sunday.

"She's very creative. She loves dancing," she said. "She loves people and being around her friends."

Deborah Flores-Narvaez moved to Las Vegas to pursue a dancing career about two years ago, according to Fox News. After she didn't show up to a dance practice on Sunday night and then a show on Monday, Flores-Narvaez's roomate called her family, her sister told the Sun.

"She knew something was wrong when my sister didn't show up for practice," Celeste Flores-Narvaez said. "My sister is always at practice."

On her MySpace page, Deborah Flores-Narvaez says she was born and raised in Puerto Rico and is a ballroom, Latin and hip-hop dancer. She says she worked for the Washington Redskin Cheerleader Ambassadors in 2007 and 2008 and earned a law degree, as well as a bachelor's degree in international business.

"I am well-cultured, quick witted, intelligent, considerate and humorous," her MySpace biography says. "I am confident, tolerant, loving, realistic, big-hearted and completely uninterested in shallow pretentious people."

Police say she drives a maroon 1997 Chevrolet Prism with Maryland license plates and is described as 5-feet-5-inches tall and weighing 120 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

Anita Mann Productions produces "Fantasy." The owner, Anita Mann, released the following statement on Thursday:

"Our hearts and prayers are with Debbie's family through this difficult time. We strongly urge anyone who may have information about her whereabouts to contact Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, immediately."
